Tenda 5G03 is a wireless router equipped with a 5G modem. When downloading data, it is able to handle up to 12 bands (2x2, 4x4), thanks to which the maximum theoretical download speed is 4.67 Gbps. It uses 2x2 when uploading, and the maximum theoretical throughput is 1.25 Gbps. The speeds achieved are much higher than in devices using the older 4G / LTE standard. Tenda 5G03 can become the main home router and offer bandwidths similar to those provided by ordinary ISP operators. At the same time, the router can be moved and used in a different location at any time, which can be useful if you have a summer house. The device is backward compatible with the LTE (4G) and 3G standard, has 1 nanoSIM card slot.
The offered product can transmit a wireless network in the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It uses the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 1800 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The Wi-Fi 6 standard, in addition to higher speed, also provides additional features - Beamforming (beamforming to improve range), MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmitting and receiving data from multiple users) and WPA3 encryption.
An additional advantage is the Mesh function, which allows you to wirelessly connect the 5G03 with other Tenda devices. You can connect up to 8 devices within one network, which translates into a very large Wi-Fi range. This feature is perfect for large homes where one router is not able to cover the entire area with a signal.
5G transmission
The device utilizes 5G mobile transmission, both in 5G NR SA and 5G NR NSA technologies. The maximum theoretical throughput of such a connection is 4.67 Gb/s for downloading data and 1.25 Gb/s for uploading. These speeds are significantly higher than those offered by the older LTE standard. 5G will enable you to achieve throughput comparable to that offered by cable operators.
5G03 is also backward compatible with the LTE (4G) and 3G standards. If you plan to use the device while traveling, you do not have to worry about being in a location without a network to connect to.
High efficiency
The device's construction is based on an efficient, quad-core processor clocked at 2 GHz. This enables the achievement of very high throughput without concerns about operational stability. You will particularly notice an advantage over the competition, especially when multiple users are using 5G03 simultaneously.
Low latency, high upstream
The offered product ensures low latency, less than 10 ms. Additionally, 5G solutions distinguish themselves from earlier LTE devices with very high data upload speeds, up to 1.25 Gb/s.
Thanks to this, the device will work perfectly in various types of streams where a high level of connection stability is required. Users of online games will also appreciate the low latency.
Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 wireless network
The Tenda 5G03 enables wireless network transmission in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, following the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 1201 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band and 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band. This speed is more than sufficient for most internet activities, even when multiple users are accessing the network simultaneously.
Up to 128 clients simultaneously
The router can accommodate up to 128 users simultaneously. This capability is particularly crucial in environments where multiple devices are connected to Wi-Fi, such as printers, televisions, gaming consoles, and other devices. An additional advantage of the device is the BSS Coloring feature, where the network frames broadcasted by the 5G03 are specifically marked to minimize the impact of interferences generated by other nearby networks.
WPA3 encryption
With the introduction of the Wi-Fi 6 standard, support for a new type of encryption, WPA3, was implemented. It ensures significantly higher network security compared to older standards. The router also supports a firewall and allows for network hiding.
12 5G bands, nanoSIM slot, gigabit port
The offered product supports up to 12 5G bands, and you can find the full list in the specifications. Additionally, there is a nanoSIM card slot located at the bottom of the housing.
The device is equipped with 2 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), where one serves as the LAN and the other as either WAN or LAN. If you prefer not to use the mobile transmission, you can connect the 5G03 to the network source using a cable.
Mesh function
The device supports the Mesh standard, enabling it to wirelessly connect with other Tenda solutions that also support this standard. Routers/access points connected in this manner transmit as a single network, and as you move between them, you are automatically switched to obtain the best signal. Within the network, you can connect a maximum of 8 devices, which is sufficient to cover even a very large area.
Automatic band selection
The Wi-Fi network created by 5G03 is visible under one name, even though it operates in two bands simultaneously. The device automatically determines which band to connect you to at any given moment. If you are significantly far from the router, you will be automatically switched to the 2.4 GHz transmission for the best possible signal.
